Why Japanese Women Avoid Caffeine for Youthful Skin
Here’s some science and Eastern Wisdom from Japan 🌏
More caffeine you consume??
Your body enters state of stress
Even if you don’t feel it immediately!!
It’s no secret that dehydrated skin is more prone to fine lines, wrinkles, and dullness
Caffeine also constricts your blood vessels
Reduces blood flow to the skin
Preventing essential nutrients from reaching your skin cells
Making your skin look tired, dry, and aged over time
In Japan, I noticed some women generally steer clear of highly caffeinated drinks
Especially highly caffeinated sugary drinks like the drive-thrus all across America
And matcha? Also a big NO!!
Sure, it’s massively popular in America now
As an “everyday” healthier drink instead of coffee
But it was traditionally reserved ONLY for ceremonies in Japan
Never meant to be consumed daily as a coffee replacement
Just think about how much caffeine is in a matcha latte you grab on your way to work!!
While matcha contains antioxidants
Caffeine level can still contribute to aging if consumed in excess
That’s why many women in Japan focus on teas instead
Low in caffeine, or completely herbal
Drinks that support their body’s natural balance
Rather than put it under stress
Result is glowing, youthful skin that stays vibrant for years
So, if you’re looking to slow down the aging process, consider cutting back on coffee and limiting matcha to occasional use
Just like the ancient ceremonies intended
Your skin will thank you for it
🌞3 tips I learned from Japan to AGE BACKWARDS:
1. No trending beauty products
2. Rice water
